She was sentenced to three years and ten days in jail after a nearly five-month-long, secret trial, while her close friend Alyona Savchenko was given a four-year, three-month sentence. The two were found to have committed more criminal conduct over the course of the inquiry. Larceny, crimes motivated by hate, and animal cruelty were among the offenses that were committed.
