How to watch Tesla AI Day Event 2022
Elon Musk has promised to unveil a prototype of Tesla’s humanoid robot Optimus during the company’s AI Day, which begins today (September 30). The Tesla’s AI Day event 2022 will be hosted in Tesla’s Palo Alto, California, headquarters and broadcast live online, is scheduled to begin at 30th September, on 9:15PM ET / 6:15PM PT, making it later in the evening than 2017’s AI Day.
There will be a webcast of AI Day available on Tesla’s website (click here) and on YouTube (click here).
As for what will be unveiled, we don’t know much, but the invitation suggests that it will have something to do with the “latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, including Full Self-Driving, Tesla Bot, Dojo, and more.”
When asked about Tesla’s plans to grow its robots’ section, Musk stated he plans to use AI Day as a recruitment tool. He previously said that the Tesla Bot is “the most important product development we’re undertaking this year,” with the possibility of being “more substantial than the automotive company over time.”
About twice a year, Tesla hosts events open to the public. Both Cyber Rodeo and AI Day were introduced this year to commemorate the inauguration of the firm’s Gigafactory in Texas. Tesla has held events over the last several years not to introduce new products but to showcase technology that are important to the company’s future growth. To achieve its objective of making an electric vehicle that could be purchased for $25,000, Tesla staged its inaugural Battery Day event in 2020.
As for the much-anticipated Cybertruck, manufacturing has been delayed by Tesla until 2023, so we probably won’t see a customer delivery event for at least another year.
