The Alchemists’ Guide to Making Tools in Little Alchemy

Little Alchemy has finally come out with the newest expansion, The Alchemists’ Guide to Making Tools! Now, you can create tools in Little Alchemy just like you can in real life! Step 1: Identify the Ingredients

There are many materials that you will need to create a Tool. You’ll need one of each type of material – Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. The five raw materials found at the bottom of the screen are all you’ll need for a Tool, but some have greater concentrations than others. In order to make a Tool that is powerful enough for daily use, you will have to find more than one of each of these materials. Once you’ve gathered everything you need, it’s time to start the alchemy process! First, select an Earth material by clicking on it with your mouse. Next, click on any other two raw materials.

Step 2: Match the Ingredients

In order to create a Tool, you need a Grip and a Handle. The grip is the tip of the tool (for scooping or grasping) and the handle is what you hold on to. On your table, match up the material that corresponds with each part: metal for grip and wood for handle.

Next, drag one into the other’s place on the crafting area. Now click Transmute and wait until they fuse together! You’ll know it’s finished when there are no gaps between them left to fill. Congratulations! You’ve just made your first Tool – A Ladle! If you want to make something different like a shovel, follow these steps: start by making another pile of wood and metal on the crafting area (it doesn’t matter if they’re next to each other or not). Then repeat Step 2 using these materials instead.

If you want to make something more complex like a hammer, follow these steps: start by making piles of two different materials in addition to the previous ones. Then repeat Step 2 with these new piles added as well.

Step 3: Profit!

Now that you know how to make tools, it’s time for the best part: profit! Use the crafting materials you’ve gathered on any available task. Remember, it doesn’t matter if your Sim is perfect at making all types of items: as long as they have the right materials and time, they’ll succeed eventually. When you’re done, sell your new tool in either the Buy or Sell menus, depending on what type of item it is.

If you don’t want to sell the tool but still want it for yourself, head over to your Inventory menu and select Take (near the bottom). You can also click on an individual item in order to move it from one slot to another.
